East Cape Escape

Come ride the length and breadth of NZ with Open Road. Starting in Auckland and finishing in Arrowtown we’ll take you on an unforgettable ride along some of NZ’s most iconic roads. In the North Island we’ll ride the Pacific Coast Highway round the Coromandel Loop and remote East Cape, visit Art Deco Napier and cross the Rimutaka Ranges. Crossing over to the South Island through the Marlborough Sounds, we’ll travel through the Buller Gorge to the West Coast, stopping to view the pancake rocks at Punakaiki, and then across the Southern Alps via the Haast Pass to Wanaka and Arrowtown. All in all it's a fantastic thrilling ride. Far North Discovery

Based on our popular Grand Tour this is 12 days of the finest riding New Zealand’s North Island has to offer, and some of our personal favourites.
